Chipinge Resident Sentenced to Six Months for Assault and Robbery of Traditional Healer

A 42-year-old man from Mistyview, Chipinge, faced justice for a heinous act against a local traditional healer.

Tafirenyika Jamu was sentenced to six months in prison.

There, they subjected him to physical violence, using a stick and a fan belt.

Demanding payment, they assaulted the healer, who, in fear for his life, complied.

The healer handed over the cash, which included both US dollars and Mozambican currency.

The NPA confirmed that Jamu received his sentence at the Chipinge Magistrate’s Court for robbery.
